    Founding of Rome 2
“The founding of Rome,” explains the legend of Romulus y Remos and how Rome came to be. Now there are many versions of the legend I am talking about. The legend goes like this. There was once a princess that was not allowed to have babies. This was because of the king’s rules. But the princess had babies with Mars. How is Mars you ask? “Mars is the Roman god of war.” He is the same as his counterpart “Ares the Greek god of war.” Moving on when the babies were discovered they were sent away.

    Founding of Rome 3
They were put in a basket in the Tiber River. The babies were found by a she-wolf and nursed by her. Why? Maybe she didn’t have babies. This is just an inference. When a farmer discovered the she-wolf with the babies he killed her and adopted the babies. These babies were named Romulus and Remos. As time passed they had multiple conflicts and Romulus ended up killing Remos. Romulus then named the city of Rome after himself. And finally this is how Rome came to be.

    Etruscans Religious beliefs
“The Etruscans”“The Etruscans” informs how a group of people from Asia Minor settled in Etruria, developed Religious beliefs and a daily life. As you already know the Etruscans came from Asia Minor. Maybe the Romans are not original Italians. Maybe the Romans have a connection with the people of Asia. When The Etruscans settled in Etruria they had no culture. A few years forward the Etruscans had developed and advanced themselves. They had a normal basis were they did various things.
  • Etruscans Tombs of Gold

    Etruscans Tombs of Gold
Women danced, and did sports. Men worked, and had a family. They borrowed the Greek alphabet and changed a few things. The Etruscans built their temples facing west. Why? Because according to their religion they thought that the gods of heaven were to the west of the universe and the gods of hell were to the east. This is how the Etruscans developed as a society. The Tombs of gold were tombs that had jewelry, money etc.

    Etruscans and Romans 3
But as time passed the Romans killed the Etruscans for unknown reasons. Maybe the Romans wanted to be unique. That’s only my inference.
  • Etruscans and Romans 2

    Etruscans and Romans 2
“The Etruscans and Romans” provides information on two different groups of people in which one helped another. When the Etruscans were at their “golden years” the Romans were new in town they weren’t developed at the time. So the Etruscans helped them. But why? Maybe they had some history with each other. The Romans borrowed most of the things the Etruscans had. They borrowed language, culture, alphabet, religion, and daily life. That’s a lot of things they borrowed from the Etruscans.
