Robert was at recess just playing and messing around. Eward Thatcher came to him and started making sport of his clothing. Robert wanted to do something but he couldn't.Mrs. Malcam called the kids inside but Robert didnt listen he ran to the barn. -
Saving A Cow
Robert was wondering the feilds cause he left school and didnt want to go home. He later saw Apron struggling to move.Robert decided to try to help, he got his hand in her mouth and pulled out a goiter saving Apron. -
Pinky
Since Robert saved Apron his Papa took him to Aprons owner Mr. Tanner. Mr. Tanner was proud and really thankful to Robert because of what he did. For Robert's reward Mr. Tanner gave hime a pig and he named it Pinky -
Graveyard Visit
May Hillman went to Haven Peck's house because her husband, Sebring was going to dig uphis daughter. The women was Haven Peck's reletive. Robert and Haven went to stop him because they thought he was digging up the girl who gave birth, but he only wanted the baby girl. -
The Weasle
Robert, Mr. Long, and his dad had to weasle a dog and Robert felt bad because hussy the dog was miserable.Hussy killed the weasle, but his ear was almost all the way off. She was bleeding and Robert said kill him cause he was miserable. -
Like Father like Son
Robert and his dad were talking by the fire . Papa told Robert he had an infection and he was going to die. Robert didn't know what to say he was really upset. Haven was saying that Robert was going to have to be the man of the family and take care of his family. -
Pinky's Death
Robert's family had no money and Pinky was barren(can't have babies.) Robert's and Haven had no choice but to kill pinky because they had no money to get food. Robert knew it was the right thing to do, he would always love Pinky and she would be his Pinky. -
Haven Peck's Death
Robert woke up and something to him was strange. Papa usally woke up before him but no one knew where he was. He went to the farm and there he was dead. -
The man
When he was at the furneral he realized he has to provide for his family. He talked about his dad during his speech and was very upset. Robert thinks he is perpared for this task because he thinks his dad tought him well.
