Robert Lee Frost was born March 26, 1874. He was born in San Francisco, California. His parents where Isabelle and William Frost.

Robert's father got diagnosed as consumpitive. It is a type of tuberculosis. Back I those days tuberculosis was almost always fatal to humans. The doctors just did not know how to cure it.

Robert Frost was home schooled during kindergarden and first grade. He just did not like going to school so his parents decided to have him home schooled. Robert did end up going to school.

Robert's dad passed away of tuberculosis May 5, 1885. He left only 8 dollars for his family. He lived for 9 years after being diagnosed with tuberculosis. That must have been terrible being sick for so long.

He moved to New England in 1885. He moved there because of the job opportunities and because of the passing of his father. He was pretty upset when his father died and he probably wanted to get away from it all.

He enrolled into Dartmouth in 1892. He went to Dartmouth because it was cheaper then Harvard and because his grand parents convinced him to. He got bored with Dartmouth after a couple months and he stopped attending the college at the end of December

Robert taught an 8th grade class for a little while. The 8th graders were so bad that he just quit teaching. He did not want to have to put up with that.

Robert got his first poem published in 1894. It was the first of many for him. The poem was called My Butterfly.

Robert Frost married Elinor White December 19, 1895. They were very happy with eachother. They were married for 43 years until Elinor passed away in 1938.

Robert's first son was born September 25,1896. HIs name was Elliott. He was the first of 6 kids in the Frost family. Elinor and Robert were so happy that they had a child.

His first daughter named Leslie was born April 28, 1899. The Frost family welcomed there 2nd child into the growing family, They would end up having three more daughters.

Robert's mom died on November 2, 1900. Robert was very upset about the passing of his mom. In this same year his son died also so this year of 1900 was terrible for Robert. Even though he felt bad he did not let the deaths keep him down.

Robert's first book got published in 1913. It was called A Boy's Will. He was 39 when he wrote the book.

Robert Frost participated in John F. Kennedy's inauguration ceremony, He was asked to write a poem about JFK. He was very honored by this but he couldn't read his poem because the glare from the sun made it to hard for him.

Robert Frost passed away in Boston. He died of surgical complications. He was 88 years old. He had a very good life full of many achievements.
