    The French & Indian War was between the French & the British with the Indians fighting on both sides. It was caused by France's desire to expand their territory to Ohio River Valley. The British forces won the war, which limited France's cultural influence from spreading all over North America. This was a historically significant event because it was the first event that led to the British formally staking their claim on North America.

    The Proclamation Line was the border north & west of the Appalachian Mountains, which was enforced by Parliament on October 7th. The land west of this line was awarded to the Indians who participated in the F&I War. This was a historically significant event because it was the one of the first instances of contempt between the colonies and Britain. The settlers were upset because they were forced to evacuate the land they had just fought for

    On March 3rd a crowd was throwing snowballs and taunting British soldiers outside the Boston Commons House. In the confusion, a soldier accidently fired a shot against orders. Disoriented- the rest of the squad fired their weapons. FIve civillians were killed. This is a historically significant event because it fueled the Revolutionary War. Also it cause the king to ease up on taxation.

    The Tea Act was a bill created by Parliament, which granted the British East India Co. a defacto monopoly on tea. This was designed to save the East India Co. form bankruptcy and provide the colonists with cheaper tea. The colonists were outraged by the passive manipulation of Britain. This is a historically significant even because it led to the Boston Tea, which cause the Intolerable Acts to be enforced.

    On March 31, 1774 Parliament passed the Intolerable Acts. These acts would lower Quebec territory to the much desired Ohio River Valley, force colonists to house and feed British soldiers, obliterate the Massachusettes government, close the Boston Harbor, and grant British soldiers immunity of criminal prosecution. These acts were employed in an attempt to punish and gain control of the colonies after the Boston Tea Party.

This Document served as a formal break up letter to England; the colonists were sick of being taxed and wanted an autonomous government. This was an historically significant event because it liberated the US from Britain and caused the Revolutionary War.
