    Merchantilism was the country's ultimate goal that was self-sufficiency and meant that all countries were in a competition to gain the most gold and silver. This caused nations to concentrate on the balance of trade, since favorable trade meant that more gold was coming then going.

    Salutray Neglect meant that England relaxed its enforecement of most regulations in return that the colonists remained loyal.This caused the colonies to develop a taste for self-governmment.

    The French and Indian War was the 4th war that broke out between the British and French for control over North America. The Native Americans were on both sides of the war but mostly on the French side. William Pitt caused the British to win the battle.

    This proclamation meant that no one can own land west of the Applacian Mountians. They did this to try and lessen the wars happening between them and the Indians. Even through that was their intent the colonists still moved west of the Applacian mountians.

    A large group of Boston rebels disguised themselves as Native Americans an took action against 3 Boston tes ships in the habor.

    Parliament responded to the Boston Tea Party by passing a series of measures that the colonists called the Intolerable Acts. It shut down the Boston Harbor, and the parliament passed the quartering acts.

    It met in the Carpenters Hall in Philadelphia. It was a convention of delegates from 12 colonies. Georgia was not included.

    The kings troops reached Lexington to find 70 minutemen waiting for them. One of the minutemen fired and the war started. 8 minutemn were killed and 10 wounded. Only one British soldier was injured. The battke only lasted 15 minutes.

    The British surrendered at Yorktown on October 17th and George Washinton accepted their surrender on October 19th ending the American Revolution.
