    Starting in 1754 In North America the French and Indians went to war. This war made it so Britain gained more territory. Although it led to an argument about paying the expenses of the war and other arguments.

    The proclamation made it so that the British could form a boundary. There was a group of Indians that rebelled. The boundary made it so that other Anglo-Americans couldn't settle there.
  • Sugar Act

    They taxed the people to help them pay the costs. They were trying to stop the smuggling of molasses and sugar.

    The stamp act was passed to help pay for British troops. The people payed more money for a stamp that was on different form of documents, playing cards and paper.

    The British Parliament kept bringing in more and more taxed goods. The colonists saw it as a wrong use of power.

    The Boston massacre was a fight against the colonists and British troops. The colonists threw stones and other items at the British soldiers.

    The Boston tea party was a protest. The colonists were angry and they snuck aboard the ship. The dumped the tea on the boat into the harbor.

    The intolerable acts was a series of punishments for dumping the tea in the harbor. They closed the harbor and it would open again once they paid for the tea.
