This was an alliance that was formed between Italy and Germany. Mussolini and Hitler joined forces politically and military. This helped strengthen both Italy and Germany.

Germany Invades Poland (Starts WWII)

Nazi's accused Poland of killing ethnic Germans living in Poland. Nazi's also claimed that Poland was planning to dismember Germany. This empowered Germany because they were gaining back their lost territory.

Germany, Italy, and Japan all form an alliance. They create a huge defensive line and they try to scare the US so they do not join the war. This helped all three countries.
