Rick wins 19 international wheelchair marathons, Rick receives 9 gold medals at the 1982 Pan American Wheelchair Games, and he gets to represent Canada at the 1984 Olympics. Rick is also named Canada’s Disabled Athlete of the Year in 1979, 1980, 1982.
