  • The Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris marked the end of the French and Indian war. It was very harsh towards the French and made it so that the English owned all their land on North America.
  • Proclomation of 1763

    A proclomation that made it so that English settlers weren't allowed to go West and settle. This made English Settlers very mad.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act was passed by the British and it said that all American Colonists had to pay tax on printed paper. It angered the American colonies.
  • Sam Adams

    Sam Adams
    He was a major figure in fighting things like the Stamp Act.
  • The Quartering Act

    This act made it so British Soldiers could go into anyone's house and request aid, food and take up room and board. This made the Colonists angry.

    The Townshend act were a bunch of taxes intended to raise revenue for the British Empire ansd keep stricter control on the Colonies trade.

    Provoked British Soldiers fired on a rowdy group of Patriots who were throwing rocks and sticks. John Adams defended the British in court and they were later aquitted.
