The first Continental Congress was were the British decided to make a rule to lower the price of the taxes that had been put on everyday items. Everyone quietly agreed. Then one night when the British found out about the Boston tea party, they were so upset they had colonist call in British troops. -

The Second Continental Congress was about raising armies and troops, and making formal treaties and many more. Most of the people who were at the first meeting were also at the second one as well. It almost helped to get freedom and independence. -
Lexington and Concord
The Lexington and Concord battle was where 700 British troops came to Lexington when all of the sudden someone fired a shot but no one knows to this day who shot the first shot. -

It was a paper written by Thomas Paine in 1775-1776 it was saying how the thirteen colonies should have independence, and it was a note written to the British about it. They didn't publish it until a while and they put it out and they didn't say who wrote it they just sent it out. -
