    Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act was a period in history when all paper goods were taxed. Diplomas, playing cards, etc. were taxed. This affected many of the colonists, all different groups with different ways. This led to the enragement of a large majority of the colonists. The Stamp Act was an asymmetrical event because the colonists reacted unexpectedly towards the taxaction.     The Tea Tax was the event when the Parliament passed a British Law in 1773. The British were making higher income do to inflation of prices. This angered the citizens because they had to pay more money, and tea was a normal or everyday drink. This was an asymmetrical event because the citizens reacted to the taxing, by dressing as Indians, and throwing the tea into the Boston Harbor.     The Battle in Lexington wasn't supposed to start but one soldier fired the first shot. This was later called the shot heard around the world. The Battle of Concord was when the British marched into Concord and the Americans had secret stashes of weapons. As the battle went on more common people came.     Battle at Bunker/Breed's Hill
    The Battle at Bunker/Breed's Hill was the first battle in the Revolutionary War. This battle was known for it violence, and the quote, "don't fire till you see the whites if their eyes". The Americans lost almost 1/3 of their soldiers. The man power was down and the war just stated.     Common Sense
    The Common Sense written Thomas Paine suggested for the first time to be independent from the British. This paper openly displayed the controversial ideas of British rule, his paper showed how he opposed the government and the royal monarchy. The paper was a big deal, and was the first to really oppose Britain.     The Declaration of independence was meant to establish that the colonies did not have the correct representation. The were making new laws that only benifitted themselves. The colonies were getting fed up with the British taking to much power.     The Battle of Princeton and Trenton was the battle that boosted the soldiers mural. This battle was also significant because it was the battle that took out the Germans.     The Battle of Saratoga brought to sight who the British were actually fighting against. The Battle of Saratoga was the battle when the British planned on attacking the Americans from both sides, but they had poor communication and the plan failed. The two generals of the British armies were lacking in communication so this lead to the victory of the Americans.     The Battle of Yorktown was the battle where the French joined the war, The French Navy stopped any of the British reinforcements from getting in. This led to the largest British disaster since the Battle of Saratoga. The Battle of Yorktown was the most important battle in the Revolutionary War because this was the battle that made the British surrender. The battle was symmetrical because the battle was even.
