    The Treaty of Paris ended the French and Indian War. Britan said that no one can settle west of the Appalachian Moutains. But the colonies were still under britans control.

    Proclomation of 1763
    The Proclomation of 1763 divided the territories between the british and the colonists. The border was along the Appilachian Moutains. The british border was a little bit further.

    The Sugar Act placed tax on products shipped to the colonies. Colonists were not that happy to hear about this act. James Otis say it is taxation without representation.

    The Quartering Act said that colonists needed to house British troops if needed. Not only housing but feeding them as well. This expired in 1767

    When the Sugar Act failed Britan put out the Stamp Act. The Stamp Act says that any paper used in the colonies must be taxed and have a stamp to know it is legal. Of course like the Sugar Act the colonist were not happy about it and eventually repealed.

    The Boston Tea Party was a protest against the Tea Act. Colonists pretending to be natives snuck onto the british ships and dumped 342 chests of tea. This will be an important point up until the war. The king was really furious.

    After the Boston Tea Party the Intolerable Act was britans way of punishment for the tea destruction. It closed the port of Boston harbor until the amount of money is paid for the destroyed tea. It also allowed Britain to house British troops.

    Also Known as the Battle of Breed's Hill. Most of the fighting took place on Breed's Hill than Bunker Hill. Even though the British won they suffered over 1,000 casualties.

    This treaty made the United States indiependent. It gave land rights east of the Mississippi River. Both the U.S. and Britain Agreed to repay their debts.
