    After the French and Indian war, King George created a Proclamation that didn't allow colonists to move to the West of the Appalachian Mountains.

    Townshend taxes are taxes that were placed on paint, oil, lead, and paint. The Boston Massacre was A confrontation between the crowds and the soldiers. On Monday, March 5, 1770, at a square near a customs house, about 60 people mobbed, taunted, and threw snowballs at the soldiers, while on duty. Someone rang the town bell, and that brought more people to the scene. The guard called for help. One soldier was knocked down to the ground, he got up, and began to fire at the crowd (without order).

Theses acts include the Quebec Act; set up royal government in Canada and a privileged position to the Catholic church in Canada, and extended the boundaries southward towards Ohio Valley taking over claims by several colonies and although it wasn't meant to be repressive the colonists believed it was.
