  • Thirty Year War

    Thirty Year War
    Thirty Year War was a 17th century religious conflict that started in Europe. The war started in 1618 then ended in 1648. This battle was between the Catholic and Protestant states. Both of these states created by the Holy Roman Empire. This war did not end until multiple parties in the dispute signed a series of treaties called the Peace of Westphalia. This treaty established peace and boundaries between the countries.
  • English Bill Of Rights

    English Bill Of Rights
    The English Bill of Rights was an act that was passed on December 16 1689 by the Parliament of England. This Bill created specific rights for the citizens of England. The Bill of Rights was also added by the Act of Settlement. They both contributed to the establishment.
  • War of the Australian Succession

    The War of the Austrian Succession involved the big and small powers of Maria Theresa's succession to the Habsburg Monarchy since she inherited her fathers land. This war also included King Georges War in British America, the War of Jenkins Ear, the First Carnaitic War of India, the Jacobite Rising in 1745, and the First & Second Silesian Wars. The war ended with the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle in 1748, then Maria Theresa was confirmed as Archduchess of Austria and Queen of Hungary.

    The American Revolution started in 1775 and ended in 1783. The United States War of Independence. This war included Great Britain's and North America's colonies trying to win political independence. This conflict also created a civil war in the British Empire then France and Spain joined colonies against Britain. The Netherlands also went against Britain and started to financially support the United States. The war ended when General Cornwallis was forced the British position.

    The Stamp Act started in 1765. This was introduced by George Grenville, Prime Minister. This was an Act of the Parliament of Great Britain which started a direct tax on the Britain colonies in America. This required many printed materials in the colonies, produced on stamped paper produced in London. These materials also included legal documents, magazines, playing cards, newspapers, and other materials used in the colonies.

    The Treaty of Paris was started on September 3 1783 and was effective on May 12 1784. The Treaty of Paris was an official peace treaty created for the United States and Britain for the American Revolution War to end.
  • French Revolution

    The French Revolution started on May 5 1789 and ended November 9 1799. The French Revolution started when people started to overthrow monarchy and took control of the government. When King Louis XUI was executed, the French Revolution ended. Afterwards, Napoleon Bonaparte took power in November 1799 then in 1804 Napoleon became Emperor.

    The Storming of bastille was a violent attack on the government by the people in France. this took place on July 14 1789. The Storming of bastille created the beginning of the French Revolution.

    The Reign of terror started September 5 1793 then ended July 28 1794. The Reign of Terror's purpose was to evict France of enemies of the revolution and to protect the country from foreign invaders.
