  • Lexington Revolution

    Lexington Revolution
    Colonist had spread the word around that there would be 700 British troops coming to Concord. They alarmed everyone to prepare by the signals, gunshots, and signs that they had for when an emergency comes. When the British reached about only five miles before Concord, there were already 70 minutemen soldiers line-up.
  • Concord Revolution

    Concord Revolution
    A 15 minute revolutionary war happened where 8 minutemen killed and 10 more minutemen wounded, while only one British troop was injured. And soon after that when the British were almost in concord, they were ambushed by 3-4,000 minutemen from the colonist. Only the British that were left made it back home.
  • Bunker Hill Revolution

    Bunker Hill Revolution
    British general Thomas Gage had decided to strike a militiamen on Breed’s Hill. 2,400 British soldiers were sent up upon the hill where they meet colonist soldiers waiting for them. Until it was the last minute is when the colonist fired their attacks and so did the British troops. In the end, only 450 men from the colonist side were killed while 1,000 British troops suffered casualties.

    The British attempted to seize New York City, the British had 32,000 soldiers. The British were able to push Washington’s army across the Delaware river. When this happened, Washington had decide to strike up on the British on Christmas night. He led 2,400 men in small rowboats.
  • Trenton Revolution

    It was the battle between the Americans and the British. Washington and his 2,400 soldiers had snuck up on the garrison of the Hessians and defeated them.
  • Saratoga Revolution

    Saratoga Revolution
    General John Burgoyne had plan to unite his army with the British troops armies to isolate new England from the rest of the colonies. As Burgoyne was traveling through the wilderness, militiamen and new England troops came fought against him. When he had realized that he had no one else to help him out because most of his men were preoccupied with holding Philadelphia, he surrendered.
  • Volley Forge Revolution

    George Washington and his men where at a Volley Forge camp during winter and they had begun to run low on food supplies. Because of the condition of the weather and the low amount of food that was left, more than 2,000 soldiers died, but the ones that remained didn't leave, but instead stayed.

    Morris and Salmon helped to raise money for continental soldiers from Quakers and Jews in Philadelphia.This was the first time that U.S soldiers received a one month's pay in coins.
  • Yorktown Revolution

    Yorktown Revolution
    The armies of Lafayette and Washington moved southward toward Yorktown when they heard about corallin's actions. There were 17,000 men French and American troops surrounded the British and attacked them day and night until finally the Cornwallis had ended up surrendering a less than a month later.

    The Treaty of Paris was when the delegates had signed this treaty and this declared the U.S independence. With this, the U.S was able to expand from the Atlantic ocean to Mississippi River and from Canada to Florida border.
