  • The Stamp Act

    The stamp act took place on March 22, 1765. This taxed the colonists on every newspaper, magazine, letter, will, and deed. The colonists were very upset about this and asked England to repeal it.

    The quartering act took place on March 24, 1765. This required the colonists to have British Soilders to stay in their homes and the colonists have to feed and take care of them.
  • The declatory act

    The declatory act took place on March 18, 1766. This was created when Parliment repealed the stamp act. But, the declatory act was about ten times worse.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The sons of liberty participated in a political protest against England by dumping all of the British tea in the Boston Harbor.
  • The intolerable acts

    A series of laws passed by parliment in 1774 aftr the boston tea party. This closed the boston harbor.
