    The Bubonic Plague, nicknamed The Black Plague swept Europe during the early 14th century and is said to have wiped out 30-60% of the total European population. It was a disease which spread from rodents therefore hitting only the working class. Due to this, wages rose with the demand of labor as well.

    Joan of Arc, nicknamed "The Maid of Orleans" is an official Roman Catholic Saint. She is famous for being the turning point in the Hundred Years War between France and England. She had visions which led her to believe that France would win the battle at Agincourt and after a series of losses, desperate France fearful of becoming invaded by Britain gave Joan of Arc a try which led to the First major French victory in the Hundred Years War.

    The Spanish Inquisition was the tribunal court system adopted by the Catholic Church to surpress and punish the accused "Heretics". This basically meant anyone who was not a Catholic was a heretic. This was one of the earliest occurances of religious cleanising and totalitarian ruling. Spains way of unifying their country into a strong nation.

He is most known for getting his nickname through his conquest of Khanates of Kazan, Astrakhan and most of modern day Siberia. He was said to be very intelligent although with a short temper.     Scientific Revolution
    Scientific era came along during the end of the Renaissance era and has been going on till this day. The start of the revolution is said to be from the publication of Nicolaus Copernicus' "De revolutionibus orbium coelestium. It was controvercial because it went against the belief of the Catholic Church which said Earth was the center of the universe. Scientists like Galileo later disprooved this as well and today we know this to be false.
