SFA reading groups in the first grade introduced me to "Sad Sam" books. I enjoyed reading them.

I discovered Amelia Bedelia books in the second grade. I loved reading these books and it brought me more into reading.

Junie B. Jones were my absolute favorite when I discovered them. This was in the third grade. I would always check out her books from the school library and made it a mission to read the entire series.

I convinced my parents to get me my first library card at the age of 8. This opened up a whole new world of books for me.

In middle school, I got really interested in poetry. I would buy poetry books and spend most of my time reading them. It was my absolute favorite pass time.

During my freshman year of high school, I decided to watch the Twilight movies. After immediately falling in love with them, I decided to read the novels.

During my junior year of high school, we read 'In Cold Blood' by Truman Capote. Upon reading this, I realized that I enjoyed reading true crime. This got me into reading more books on this genre.

During quarantine, I was left with a lot of freedom. I decided to start reading books again. This was how I got back into reading since junior year.

Still in quarantine, I discovered TikToks that would recommend books. They sounded interesting, so I gave in and started reading some more. Even bought lots of physical books.

Since I was reading a lot more now, I decided to get a library card again. So I got one, and have been using it ever since. Getting to read books for free is better than spending a ton of money on them.
