    Albany Plan
    A plan to make a government with all of the thirteen colonies. This idea was though of by Benjamin Franklin, this idea was opposed. After the Deceleration of Independence the colonies formed a government.

    The British made a tax on all things printed . As a result to help earn the money they had lost. This leads us to the Deceleration of Independence because of how aggravating and unfair this tax was for the colonists.

    Boston Massacre
    A British officer was being heckled by a crowd. His solders jumped in and shots were fired. Killing five people. The officer and his troops were charged with manslaughter. This is something that brings the colonists together and see the British as an enemy or threat which will lead to the revolution.

    In response to the Tea Act Colonists disguised themselves as native Americans and boarded three British ships. They dumped 342 chests of Tea into the Boston Harbor. This event shows us how angry the Colonists were to where they had to take natters into their own hands, leading to the Deceleration of Independence.

    After the Boston Tea Party the British wanted to punish the colonists for what they have done. They did that by setting the Intolerable Acts. These contributed to the anger with the British, causing us to revolt and fight for our independence
  • First Continental Congress

    Delegates from every colony (except Georgia) met on this date. They met because of the unfair treatment they were receiving from the British. Here they all drafted a deceleration of rights. This is a very similar event to the actual writing of the Deceleration of Independence.

    The battles that started the Revolutionary War. The British were marching to Concord our troops were informed and ambushed at Lexington. These are the battles that kicked off the fighting to gain their independence.

    concord on April 19, 1775. The following year the colonists declaring independence with the Deceleration of Independence. Until the last Battle at Yorktown in 1781. Then finally the signing of the treaty of Paris on September 3, 1783.

    The congress has appointed George Washington to be the commander of the Continental Army. After the Deceleration of Independence we all know George Washington later becomes President.
