Motorola DynaTAC 8000X
- Dr. Martin Cooper made the first phone call over a cellular network in 1973, but it took an entire decade before the DynaTAC 8000x was sold as the first commercial handheld cellular phone in 1983. Size: t weighed 1.75 lb., stood 13 in. high. Capabilities: A full charge took roughly 10 hours, and it offered 30 minutes of talk time. It also offered an LED display for dialing or recall of one of 30 phone numbers.

Nokia 101
The Nokia 1011 (NHE-2X5, NHE-2XN) is the first mass-produced GSM phone. It was sold also as Mobira Cityman 2000. The type number refers to the launch date, 10 November 1992.
Size: The black handset measured 195 x 60 x 45 mm and featured a monochrome LCD and an extendable antenna.
