Introduction
When Dwayne Johnson was little he would always watch his father wrestle. In college Dwayne played football for the Miami Hurricanes and he was apart of the 1991 National Championships Team. Dwayne had serious injuries to his shoulder and back so therefore he could not continue his career in the NFL. But he did end up playing in the Canadian Football league. Making $250 a week but ended up getting cut. Dwayne said that there was not going to be anymore football his relationship was crushed. -
Introduction (part 2)
Since Dwayne could not play football he looked into the family business which was wrestling. He spent lots of time in the WWE's minor leagues, he appeared on TV at the 1996 Survivor Series. His wrestling name was "Rocky Maivia," which combined the names of his father and grandfather. Dwayne is considered by many people to be one of the greatest to ever enter the ring. He showed his skill by winning the WWE heavyweight title six times and securing the tag team title five times. -
Growth
Dwayne Johnson being a wrestler had some popularity so he was then on Hollywood's radar. He got asked to be on Saturday Night Live. While he was on Saturday Night Live it showed Hollywood that Dwayne was not just another wrestler he could really act. Which led him to being in "The Mummy Returns" and in 2001 "The Scorpion King." He played in 2003 "The Rundown" which then people finally started noticing that Dwayne Johnson was a legitimate action hero. -
Maturity
Dwayne's career finally started to take off he played in family films like 2007 "The Game Plan" and some comedies like 2010 "The Other Guys." Some more movies he played in is "Fast and the Furious" (5,6,8) 2010 "Tooth Fairy," 2015 "San Andreas," 2016"Moana," 2017 "Baywatch," 2016 "Central Intelligence," 2017 "Jumanji," 2018 "Rampage" and 2018 "Skyscraper" There will probably many more movies that he plays in to come. I am excited because I love movies with Dwayne Johnson. -
Decision
In 2018 Dwayne talked to The Express and he told the world what he went through when he was a teenager and i think it is good he told people about his depression because it's good for people to know. Dwayne Johnson is continuing to make movies even though he told people about his struggles and people still like him as an actor. -
Decline
Someone like Dwayne Johnson people may think his life is great and he never goes through anything well that is wrong. When Dwayne was a child he went through some rough times his family got evicted from their apartment and not many months later his mother attempted suicide right in front of him. After that experience he went through serious depression he said sometimes he did not want to go anywhere he just wanted to stay home he was crying constantly. He went through a lot when he was only 15.
