    phones did not change much from the 1950's. They still look the same just less bulky. around 1962 people started buying phones in colors. In the 1960;s people starting mounting their phones to their kitchen wall.

    Motorola was the first company to make a hand held mobile phone in 1973. Princess phones got really popular which is a pink telephone.

    Brick mobile phones were the most popular in the 1980's. They were very expensive. They were called brick phones becuase they were "as big as brick houses".
