  • nice dry day so we had local farmer come and work up our ground, need to wait a few days befor planting

  • First we need a Churn/Crock

  • Prepare Cucumbers by pealing and cutting in desired size

    place Cucumbers in Churn and cover with water and 2 2/3 cup pickeling salt. Allow Cucumbers to set in saltwater for 6 Days.
  • Drain Saltwater add 2 1/2 table spoons of Alum, recover with

  • Day 10, In a sauce pan bring to boil the following ingredients

    2 - Cups Sugar
    1 - Table spoon Celery seed
    2 - Table spoons Pickeling Spice
    2 - Quarts White Vinegar
    1 - Table spoon All Spice
    3 - Cups Water
    1 - Small box of Cinnamon Sticks ( 6 to 8 Sticks)
    Drain existing water off Cucumbers, once cooled pour mixture over cucumbers and finish covering with boiling water once it has cooled.
  • Day 11, Drain mixdture into a larger cooker, bring to a boil,

    Add 2 Cups of Sugar, once desolved pour over pickels. finish filling with clear hot water if needed. Repeat this process for days 12 and 13 also.
  • Final Day 14, repeat above process, while waiting on mixture

    is getting ready, put lids in water and geet them hot. then fill your prepared jars with the pickels from the churn. when mixture is ready fill jars to with-in 1/2" of top, wipe off the top of jars, place lids and rings on pickels and tighten. NO need for pressure cooking
