Janssen was the first to creat a microscope by combing two convex lenses within a tube.Like that girl in the video of TEDed it was like the ipad of that time every scientest wanted one.With the creation it was possible to see germs and stuff like that but, the image wasnt very clear. -

Hooke was the first one to discover the cellular composition of a cork what he saw under the microscope was what helped him come up with the term "Cell".He saw a bunch of little rooms which looked like the rooms monks in the monestary sleeped in and thats why he called them cells.Before Hooke made this discovery he used to belive cells olny existed in plants and fungi. -

Remember how i said that every scientest wanted to get a microscope well instead of buying one Anton actually made his own and the magnification was actually better because, of the polishing lenses.When he finally finished his creation he went out to try it he examned pond scum and found germs.He also examend fish,birds,frogs,dogs,and humans. -

Matthias schleides was a botanist to have been studing plants under microscope for many years.One day thinking about what he had seen in under the microscope it soon dawned on him that all plants were made up of living cells.Sure this may seem quite obvious to us now but think bake then with no tech and every scientest was figuring out new stuff every day and thats why his discovery turned out to be so important. -
Theodor Schwann
Theodor Schwann had studing animal blood under a microscope for many years, at some point after studing many animals he relized that all animals were made up of cells.After that both men Thedor and Matthias worked togheter to make what we now know as the cell theroy.Like I said befor this may seem pritty obvious now but bake then people still needed to learn alot and we still do now. -
Rudolph Virchow
Virchow is the scientest that helped prove that cells didnt just apear out of the no where but they came from pre exsisting cells.When Thedor and Matthias were working together they couldnt agree if they apered out of the no where or if they came from pre exsisting cells, luckily the work of Virchow helped prove that they do come from pre excicting cells.
