Month One Baby

Month One Mom

2 weeks into pregnancy-right now you're at the most fertile time of the month you're ovulating! -
Month Two Baby
3 weeks into pregnancy- Two cells will become four, four become eight, and so on. These cells will eventually create every organ in your baby's body.
4 weeks into pregnancy- The embryos are growing no bigger than a kidney bean
5 weeks into pregnancy - looks like tiny collection of tubes. One tube could be forming spinal cords and another could be forming a brain
6 weeks into the pregnancy- The fetus is 2 cm long and can fit into a wal-nut -
Month Two Mom
3 weeks into pregnancy-Finally, you're pregnant
4 weeks into pregnancy- Now that the embryo has attached to the wall of your uterus, the real work begins.
5 weeks into pregnancy - you might feel the first twinges of pregnancy symptoms, such as sore breasts, morning sickness, and the constant urge to urinate.
6 weeks into the pregnancy- you start to feel and notice your body is changing more -
Month Three Baby
7 weeks into the pregnancy- the baby's body is now forming its organ and that includes heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, and intestines
8 weeks into pregnancy- You could make out two eyes, a nose, ears, and an upper lip. Your baby's body is also starting to straighten out.
9 weeks into pregnancy- baby nervous system start developing
10 weeks into the pregnancy- the baby now has a mouth, ears, and eyes -
Month Three Mom
7 weeks into pregnancy- you are now in your third month
8 weeks into pregnancy- the morning sickness hasn't set in, you're at least feeling more tired than usual.
9 weeks into pregnancy- It is still to early to see if your having a boy or girl
10 weeks into the pregnancy- First ultrasound and Establish baby due day -
Month Four Baby
11 weeks into pregnancy- your baby is growing fingernails and irises
12 weeks into pregnancy- the fetus is tiny no bigger than a fist
13 weeks into pregnancy- the head now makes up ⅓ of its body
14 weeks into pregnancy- He or she is developing fingerprints, including on the thumb, which might have already found its way into baby's mouth. -
Month Four Mom
11 weeks into pregnancy- during this time you don't feel anything as much
12 weeks into pregnancy-By now you've put on 2 to 5 pounds, and your baby looks like a fully formed person
13 weeks into pregnancy- Now, you should be putting on weight. It won't be long before friends and co-workers start to notice your baby bump!
14 weeks into pregnancy- you are showing a lot more -
Month Five Baby
15 weeks into pregnancy- baby muscles are now getting stronger and is now making fist and moving around
17 weeks into pregnancy- looks are changing, as hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes grow in.
18 weeks into pregnancy- baby is now 5 1/2 inches long from the top of the head to rump and weighs about 5 ounces.
19 weeks into pregnancy- the baby's body is now coated with a waxy, white substance called vernix caseosa. -
Month Five Mom
15 weeks into pregnancy- At your next visits your doctor should offer you a quad screening test to check for Down syndrome and other chromosome problems.
17 weeks into pregnancy- your breasts have grown in preparation to feed your baby. Some women get a full cup size bigger.
18 weeks into pregnancy- you may be feeling some movement
19 weeks into pregnancy- As baby's hair grows in, you might notice your own hair getting thicker. This is because your normal hair shedding cycle has slowed down. -
Month Six Mom
20 weeks into pregnancy-You're halfway through your pregnancy.Expect to gain about 1/2 pound a week from here on out.
21 weeks into pregnancy- your belly is growing even more
22 weeks into pregnancy- your feeling better and morning sickness is gone
23 weeks into pregnancy- you've still got a few months to go -
Month Six Baby
20 weeks into pregnancy- baby can hear and may respond to sounds.
21 weeks into pregnancy- Rapid eye movements may occur.
22 weeks into pregnancy- Baby's sex organs are also developing now. In boys, the testes have started to descend. In girls, the uterus, ovaries, and vagina are where they should be.
23 weeks into pregnancy- The lungs continue to get ready to breathe by inhaling amniotic fluid. -
Month Seven Mom
24 weeks into pregnancy- As your own belly expands, you may notice stretch marks forming across your abdomen.
25 weeks into pregnancy- You might also feel a gentle hiccup or two emanating from your belly.
26 weeks into pregnancy-There isn't much to see inside your uterus
27 weeks into pregnancy- You've entered your third trimester -
Month Seven Baby
24 weeks into pregnancy- Your baby now weighs more than a pound and extends almost a foot long
25 weeks into pregnancy- baby's heartbeat is becoming clearer if your partner puts his/her ear up to your belly you may hear a faint heartbeat
26 weeks into pregnancy-For the first time since your baby's eyelids formed
27 weeks into pregnancy- the organs still have some maturing to do. That includes the brain, which is quickly making the connections needed to control the baby's body. -
Month Eight Mom
31 weeks into the pregnancy- You're putting on about a pound a week
32 weeks into the pregnancy- There isn't much room left in your uterus
34 weeks into the pregnancy-Space in your uterus is tight
35 weeks into the pregnancy- it should be easier for you to breathe now that the baby is lower but now that the baby is on your bladder putting pressure you will need the bathroom more -
Month Eight Baby
31 weeks into the pregnancy- Baby's lungs are still developing, and he or she would need the help of a ventilator to breathe if you gave birth right now.
32 weeks into the pregnancy- The only bones that will stay soft are inside your baby's skull,
34 weeks into the pregnancy- Most of the major organs digestive, respiratory, and nervous systems are almost able to work on their own.
35 weeks into the pregnancy- your baby weighing in at nearly 5 1/2 pounds -
Month 9 Baby
36 weeks into the pregnancy- The waxy, white substance called vernix caseosa that covered much of his or her body during this 9-month journey has dissolved.
38 weeks into the pregnancy- Baby now weighs more than 6 1/2 pounds.
39 weeks into the pregnancy- At just over 7 pounds, your baby is like a little watermelon in your belly
40 weeks into the pregnancy- your baby is now ready to be born or it may come 2 weeks after -
Month 9 Mom
36 weeks into the pregnancy-From now until the end of your pregnancy, you'll see your ob-gyn at least once a week.
38 weeks into the pregnancy- your almost ready to give birth
39 weeks into the pregnancy- You may notice more Braxton Hicks contractions as your body prepares for labor
40 weeks into the pregnancy- your baby should be ready to born
