After the movie Johnny and Pony go to the lot and fall asleep.

When Pony and Johnny fall asleep in the lot Pony wakes up and goes home.

When Pony and Darry get in an argument Darry slaps Pony and he runs away with Johnny.

While Johnny and Pony are asleep in the lot a group of socs come and try to drown Ponyboy.

When the socs are drowning Pony Johnny gets up pulls out his switch knife and stabs bob the soc and kills him.

After killing a soc Johnny and Ponyboy run away to windrixvill to hide in a abandond chuch to stay hidden from the cops.

In order to not fit the newspaper descriptions Pony and Johnny cut their hair and Pony dyes his hair blonde to not look like the old him.

After a week or so Dally comes to tell the boys that they Johnny was wanted for manslauter and Pony for being his acoplice. Then Dally takes them out to eat and tells them what happend while they were gone.

When Dally, Pony, and Johnny come back to the church they find it burning and hear that there are some children in it they decide to become heros and save the children from getting burned to death.

Aftetr the saving the children the boys go to the hospital with burns that go from just a little to severly deadly, like Johnnys burn.

While at a gas station a soc named randy comes to talk to Pony about the rumble. Two-bit stays behind to make fun of how the socs dress.

Pony and Two-bit visit Johnny to see how he is doing and to tell him the news about how he is a hero and about the rumble.

At last the moment that the gang has all been waiting for......the rumble that will decide who is the best the greesers or the socs who will win.

After the rumble Pony and Dally go to the hospital to see Johnny and after a few words to Pony Johnny gives up and dies.

After Johnny dies Pony goes home but Dally dosen't handle the death pretty well because he goes to a store robbes it then gets shot under a street light while everyone is watching him.

After Pony witnessing Johnny die he starts to do bad in school and is told that he can pass with a good theme.

After being through so much in such a small time Pony finally comes up with a theme he would write The Outsiders.
