Johnny and Pony see that the church is on fire and feel like they started so they go in and save the little kids. Their kinda act changed them it made them into trashy greasers into heroes.

Pony was sitting in the waiting room waiting for johnny because he had been badly injured in the fire saving the kids

The gang finds out that Johnny is in critical condition and probably wont survive.
