The MLB All Star Game came to PNC Park for the first time on July 11, 2006. Texas Ranger Michael Young won the game for the American League in the top of the 9th with a 2 run triple off of Trevor Hoffman to cap off the comeback. Young picked up the MVP of the All Star Game.
