He said, "Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you." Doing this, the telephone era was born. Through the ages, phones developed from the candlestick to the modern-day iphone.

Each key made a noise, signaling the operator which number you wished to call. Unfortunately, people tricked it using a "blue box" whic allowed you to make free long-distance calls.
