  • I decided to set a goal to buy a new phone

  • I started thinking of ways to accomplish this goal

  • I thought of the trade- offs I would have to make in order to put money towards buying the phone

  • I did calculations of how much I would take out of each paycheck I recieved

  • I created a set date tgat I wanted to accomplish this goal by

  • I began to put the amount of money I calculated towards the new phone in order to reach this goal by the end date I chose

  • I will reach this goal in exactly a month if I continue putting money towards it
