  • September 11 Attacks

    Four passenger airliners, hijacked by al-Qaeda terrorists were crashed into the World Trade Center (both towers), the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania (originally aimed at Washington D.C.).

  • Axis of "Evil" Revealed

  • Human Genome Project

    The Human Genome Project finished sequencing the euchromatic regions of the genome. The euchromatic regions make up 90% of the human genome, leaving out regions in centromeres and telomeres.

  • Personal: Moved from New Jersey to Michigan

    Moved from New Jersey to Michigan, into Cascade Village Apartments where we lived for a year.

    Barack Obama, the first African American president, is sworn into office after defeating John McCain in the 2008 presidential election.

  • Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

    Considered the largest accidental marine oil spill in the history of the petroleum industry, the spill devastated marine life. The fishing and tourism industries are also severly crippled.

  • Personal: Placed 6th in World Odyssey of the Mind

    After four years of Odyssey of the Mind, our team moved on to World Finals and placed 6th in the Mousemobile event.
