Formulating claims
I will formulate 3 claims that are related to antisemitism which my book will prove with evidence and will investigate using past events. -
Researching and Finding Sources
In order to write a book I will conduct a research about the topic. This includes: Reading sources from the bible, interpretations, and learning more deeply about the plagues of Egypt and Exodus, which will be the main focus of the book. I will collect books about the topic and relevant, reliable websites, as well as have conversation with people who had learnt about the topic. -
Reading relevant resources and Summarizing them
After I collected resources, I will read the relevant and most helpful ones for my book. I will summarize the information and write using my words to prevent plagiarism. -
Conduct conversations with relevant people
After summarizing the information I will have conversations with relevant people in order to fill missing gaps and missed areas which I could not find information about or that I am not sure about. -
Research Citing
I will cite all of the used websites and books in MLA8 using MyBib -
Writing the Story
Using the information I had collected and summarized over the last weeks I will write a story from a girl who lived at the time point of view. -
Summary and Conclusions
I am going to prove and show using the story the connection between the antisemitism in the story to the antisemitism that occurs nowadays. It will be based on the claims I had presented at the beginning of the story. -
Designing the cover
After the book will be finished I will start designing my own cover to avoid plagiarism. I will use an app on my iPad and draw it. I will conduct a survey and get people's thoughts about the cover. -
Collecting images for the book
I will search for images which are not copyrighted and relevant for my story in order to make the reading experience more engaging. I will try and find evidence for the story using images of archaeological pieces. -
Images Citing
I will cite all of the used images in MLA8 using MyBib. I will include both this list and the one of the resources to my book. -
Printing the Book
I will search for a place in Singapore which prints books and print two copies of my book. Then, my product will be finished. -
Reflection
I will reflect on my process and on the final product- the book using the SWOT analyses. This will include how could I improve my project and do things differently.
