Exposition 1 Background:

In the past, Lili and Locomotion were together as a family. Then a fire in thier home ripped them apart. Thier parents passed away, leaving Lili and Locomotion orphans. Lili and Locomotion were taken to seperate foster families, ripping what was left of the family completely apart.

Exposition 3 Characters:

Lili- A foster girl who has lost her parents. Locomotion,her brother is in a different family.
Miss Edna- Locomotion's foster mother
Locomotion- A foster boy who has lots his parents. His sister, Lili, is in another family
Mrs. Cooper- Locomotion's teacher
Jenkins- Locomotion's foster brother who is currently in the war
Eric, Clyde,Angel- Locomotion's friends

Rising Action 1/Conflict

Locomotion wants to return to being in a family with Lili.Ever since his parents died, he has needed Lili more than ever.

Rising Action 2

Lili doesn't show up when Locomotion is scheduled to see her. Locomotion is very upset and starts to cry.

Rising Action 3

Jenkins is missing from the war and Locomotion can't leave home to go see Lily. Locomotion's house is full of chaos as Miss Edna cries and they wait near the phone, hoping they will hear new of Jenkins.

Rising Action 4

Jenkins is found, but he isn't doing very well. Miss Enda and Locomotion are relieved, but they don't know how bad his condition is.

Rising Action 5

Locomotion can always write poems, but he can't seem to write one to help Jenkins. Mrs.Cooper told Locomotion he isn't a poet, and that is bothering him.

Rising Action 6

Locomtion notices that Lili is reminding him of his mother, alot more than he expected. The memories of his mother start to flow back to him, quicker than they've ever before.

Rising Action 7

Locomotion hasn't ever really gone on vaction like his friends have. He feels left out and wishes he could be like his friends, having real families with real vacations.

Climax

Lili is starting to call her foster mother "Mom" which upsets Locomotion because he believes that thier foster mothers aren't thier actual mothers. He thinks Lili has forgotten about thier real mother.

Falling Action 1

Locomotion climbs up to the roof and goes stargazing, wondering if maybe Lili is right and that he should move on.

Falling Action 2

Locomotion starts to pray to God that Jenkins will come home. He sees how upset Miss Edna is and wants Jenkins to be okay, so he and Miss Edna will be happy.

Falling Action 3

Locomotion attends church with Lily and enjoys hearing her sing. Her voice sounds like angels from heaven and she makes Locomotion proud to be her brother.

Falling Action 4

One of Jenkin's legs is missing and he will return home in a month. Locomotion starts to worry, since he has never seen a legless man before.

Nov 18, 1999

Falling Action 5

Locomotion becomes fearful of a man in a wheelchair without his leg. Locomotion is so afraid he drops the groceries he was holding and they scatter everywhere.

Dec 11, 1999

Resolution 1

Jenkins returns home in a wheelchair missing his leg. For days,he stays in his room and yells often. Locomotion and Miss Edna begin to worry, and hope he'll perk up soon.

Mar 14, 2000

Resolution 2

Jenkins begins to smile again, after months of hardship and pain.Jenkins start to talk, joke and be happy again, like the old pictures Locomotion saw.
