He enrolled in the "escola municipal de música de Barcelona". At this school he studies de cello .Then he started playing the cello in a bar in Barcelona, Barcelona Café Tost . He worked every day of the week, three hours each night , and paid him for four pesetas. -
Cello teacher
In 1897, Pau Casals began teaching cello at the Concervatori del Liceu. -
Live in Paris
In 1899, Pau Casals stayed in Paris, in the house of the american singer Emma Nevada. -
Returns to Barcelona
In 1919, Pau Casals returned to Barcelona, and he created the Orquestra Pau Casals. -
