He was born in Malaga on 25th October 1881. His full name was: Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juán Nepomuceno Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz Picasso. He was a painter and a sculptor.

He did his first painting in 1889, at the age of 8.

In 1891, his family left Málaga, and they went to La Coruña.

Then, in January, 1895, his sister, Concepción, died.

When he was 14, in 1895, he joined the Art School in Barcelona. Later, in winter, he painted his first picture.

In October 1900, he went to Paris and he settled down there.

In April 1901, he went to Barcelona, but after that, in May, he returned to París.

On 26th April 1937, after the bombing of Guernica, he painted his famous work called :"Guernica".

On 15th May 1947, he had his first son with Françoise Giliot, called Claude.

On 19th April 1949, he had his second daughter, Paloma.

On 8th April 1973, he died at the age of 91 years, in France.
