Birth
He was born in Malaga on 25th October 1881. His full name was: Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juán Nepomuceno Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz Picasso. He was a painter and a sculptor. -
First painting
He did his first painting in 1889, at the age of 8. -
Family
In 1891, his family left Málaga, and they went to La Coruña. -
His sister
Then, in January, 1895, his sister, Concepción, died. -
Art School
When he was 14, in 1895, he joined the Art School in Barcelona. Later, in winter, he painted his first picture. -
Paris
In October 1900, he went to Paris and he settled down there. -
Return to Barcelona
In April 1901, he went to Barcelona, but after that, in May, he returned to París. -
Guernica
On 26th April 1937, after the bombing of Guernica, he painted his famous work called :"Guernica". -
Son
On 15th May 1947, he had his first son with Françoise Giliot, called Claude. -
Daughter
On 19th April 1949, he had his second daughter, Paloma. -
Death
On 8th April 1973, he died at the age of 91 years, in France.
