Pablo Neruda was born on july 12, 1904 in Parral, Chile hospital he was the son of jose del carmen reyes morales his father, who worked as a railway employee and rosa basoalto his mother. his mother had died shortly after he was born and he had gotten a new stepmother her name was Trinidad Candia Marverde. -

He entered the Temuco Boys’ School in 1910 at the age of 6. -

At the age of 13 he got into poetry but his dad did not approve of his decision he wanted his son to have a more practical future ahead of him and did not want his son to act like a girl. -

He finished Secondary Schooling at the Temuco Boys’ School in 1920 at the age of 16. -

his second wife was Delia del Carril who was an older Argentine woman. they had a child named Malva Marina Trinidad but unfortunately due to her health problems she died at the age of 9 by Maryka. ( which is a health problem that babies can be born with) he did not have anymore kids after his daughter for he just could not. he had a half brother named rodolfo reyes marverde -

His brothers name was rodolfo reyes marverde he was born in 1895 and was left at the birthplace for this birth could not be public he was raised by his mid wife Ester until he was 11 years old the parents relationship was kept a secret until recently when he was believed to have been pablo’s younger brother. -
when did he die
pablo neruda died september 23, 1972 because he had a disease called Prostate cancer. he was 69 years old when he took his last breath although his death was investigated. he did not have any grandchildren because his only child died at the age of 9. He was buried in casa de isla negra, chile. -
the mystery of his life
Pablo Neruda was always health it was quite surprising to find out that he had prostate cancer so the police looked in to the case but did not find anything the mystery of if he was poisoned or not is still a mystery to this day for they could find no one that would have done it. -

In 2011, Neruda's chauffeur alleged that the writer said he'd been given an injection at a clinic by a physician that worsened his health. -
