    Old English

    Old English got introduced after christianity came and loaned 400 latin words and made them to Old English ones. Old English came to be Anglo-Saxon. Old English have many similarities to the modern german.
    The Old English also have alot of influence from the scandinavian countries when they invaded/raided parts of Britain from late 800 centuary and forward.
    The scandinavians spoke Old Norse and this had under times changed some Old English words.
