In the future it would be prefered if the world had a stable economy throughout the fear of oil running out. If ever oil does face running out, the economy is expected to drop however sutdies at standford show that even if the resource does face scarcity the economy should be able to cope with the deficit. -
Natural Gas Will Replace Dependency on Oil
It is predicted that natural gas will be the new 'oil'. Several economists around the world have predicted that natural gas will replace oil when oil seems to be at the brink of running out. Currently a bill in the U.S. aims to replace oil used to run transport with natural gas. In the fure hopefully more people will be able to realize the scarity of oil and that it will run out one day. The best option is to look to another resource and natural gas seems to be the most appropriate. -
Alternative Means of Transport
Research has already been conducted on environment-friendly transport that doesn't require the consumption of oil and petrol to run. Hydrogen fuel celled cars should be an appropriate substitute for these petroleum-based cars and will be far more beneficial for the environment emitting far less CO2 emisisons. Currently Honda is working on an H2GO car that runs on water. This concept should be fully developed by 2020 and should be cheap and popular around the world. -

Strong Environmental Policies
It seems that at this time environmental pokicies and bills that support helping the environment and lessening product consumption, are neglected and people continue to waste energy and use up indecent amounts. In the future it would be prefered that the environmental laws are re-inforced and people respect them. This will severely cut down greenhouse gas emissions. If the governments around the world are strict on these policies then a lot of energy can be saved for the future.
