Oedipus solves an impossible riddle and is crowned king of Thebes. He starts having relations with Jocasta, his mother.

He brings back news which makes oedipus decide that they have to find out the murderer of Lauis.

Oedipus decides that he won’t stop until they find the murderer, and puts a curse on whoever actually did it.
