Oedipus and Jocasta have 4 kids together and live peacefully until a plague infects Thebes.

Creon, Oedipus' brother in law, arrives back from the Oracle to tell that the only way to get rid of the plague is to banish or to kill the man who killed Laius.

Tiresias, a blind prophet, tells Oedipus the truth. He tells how Oedipus fulfilled his fate but Oedipus does not believe him.

After he sees his mother/wife dead, Oedipus gouges out his eyes so he won't see his parents in the afterlife.

Because he knows he was the killer of his father, Oedipus leaves Thebes with his daughter to save his city from the plauge

After leaving Thebes with Antigone, Oedipus arrives in Colonus.

After trying to outrun his fate, Oedipus and his daughter lived in Colonus until his death.
