    movie rental stores like BlockBuster have become obsolete because of streaming services such as netflix.
  • Dial-up

    Dial-up was replaced by what's called broadband internet. It doesnt require a person to have a home phone line or a second phone line.
  • 1 hour photo labs

    As digital cameras and smart phones became popular the need for these photo labs has almost disapeared.
  • public payphones

    Although there are still payphones around, no one uses them and even homeless people have phones now.

    People now use bluetooth for there music. They use stuff such as spotify, apple music, soundcloud and more
  • Answering mashines

    Alot of people don't have landlines and most people use there voicemail on their cell phones.
  • Paper phone books

    Since you are able to google basically everything, people don't rely on phone books for phone numbers or to locate businesses.
  • Fax mashines

    At one time businesses would use fax mashines to send documents to another business. Now with iphones, you can scan email documents.
  • DVD players

    DVDs are beginning to become obsolete due to streaming services such as Disney plus, Netflix and more.
