At the age of 10, Chomsky wrote his first paper on the spread of fascism following the Spanish Civil War.
He continues to be active in politics today.

Chomsky rejected that belief of language that was purposed by behaviorist that humans are born with a blank mind and learn language by mimicking and argued that human beings were in fact born with the innate ability to realize the generative grammars that constitute every human language. Children make use of this innate ability to learn the languages that they are exposed to.
He published this belief in his now famous work "synactic Structures" -
established his linguistic theory with the publishing of this work.
