Mrs Schachter becomes paranoid. Page 25
While on the Hungarian cars Eliezer manages to meet up with Mrs Shachter, a women she had known from before,. Mrs Shachter goes crazy because her husband and two older sons had been deported at a diffrent time. Mrs Shachter starts to imagine she sees flames in the distance, but in reality she isnt. -
Eliezer get interrogated page 30
Eliezer gets interrgoated by a man with a weary and warm face. The man asks his" Hey kid how old are you" Eliezer responds by saying " Im fifteen."( Wiesel, page 30) This aggrevated the man which caused him to become angry. -
Eliezers father gets struck by a Gypsy page 39
Eliezers father gets stucked right in front of him by a gypsy. " My father had just been struck, in front of me, and I had not even blinked."( Wiesel, page 39) The reason why Eliezers father was struck was because he asked were the toilets were, and he aggrevated the other man by saying this. -
Eliezer and his father get assaigned a new job page 50
Eliezer and his father were assaigned a new job, but were both very lucky to be put together. " The work was not diccicult. Sitting on the ground, we counted bolts, bulbs, and various small electrical parts." ( Wiesel, page 50) -
Eliezer loses faith in God page 67
Eliezer starts to lose his faith in God. He first starts to believe this when he hears " All the earth and universe are Gods!" ( Wiesel, page 67) Later on Eliezer states " Yes, man is stornger, greater than God." ( Wiesel, page 67) -
Elizer inherits a knife and spoon page 75
Elizer iherited a sppon and knife from his father, because his father eblieved that would he would evantaully be killed and it was his only form of protection. However Elizer evantually retruns the knife and spoon to his father. -
Elizer gets surgery page 79
Elizer got surgery at ten o clock in the morning. At frst he is nervous but the doctor later on tells him to relax and he should be fine after a few test. " Everything went well. You have spunk, my boy." (Wiesel, page 79) -
The internemnt camp gets evacauated page 81
The whole internemtn block get evacuated at four o clock in the afternoon. The Blockalteste announced that the Russians were appoaching the camp, and they need to evacaute. -
Elizers fathers number gets called page 75
Elizer and his father were both walking to the block yard when the Blockalteste ran towards them. They started to call numbers and Elies dad was one of them who got called. Elizer started to cry and said " Dont talk like that, Father." Im on the verge of breakng into sobs." ( Wiesel page 75) -

In the morning while Elizer woke up he was calling for his father but got no response. " Father! Father! Wake up. Theyre going to throw you outisde." (Wiesel page 99) -

Both Elizer and his father wanted to pass from the SS officals and not get their name called. Elizer raced to block 36 and asked his dad if he passed as well.: "So? Did you Pass?" Yes. and you" Also." (Wiesel, page 73" -
The priosners become freed page 115
At t=six o clock in the aternoon the internemtn camps were freed from imprisonment. " Our first act as free men was to throw ourselves in the provisons" ( Wiesel page 115)
