    Baltimore Colts vs New York Giants. This was the first game that was televised nationally and it turned out to be a battle. The score was 14-3 at half the Colts winning. In the second half the Giants battled back and took the lead. Finally, Colts QB Unitas ran the 2 minute drill and got the ball in the endzone.

    Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers. This is one of the most popular games in history. It was the NFL Championship Game and it was at Lambeau Field. The coaches for each team were at their best in their coaching career and it was a freezing game with temps below 0. The Packers were down and they had the ball, but the clock was goign down. The last play of the game was a QB keeper that Bart Starr was told to do. The play worked perfectly and ended with Starr in the endzone, Packers won.

    Miami Dolphins vs the Kansas City Chiefs was the longest game in history it lasted 82 min and 40 seconds. Due to a back and forth game and the Chiefs missing a game winning fieldgoal the game went into double overtime. Finally, and the end of the second overtime Miami made a fieldgoal towin the game.

    The Oakland Raiders were playing the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was the Steelers ball and their QB aired a pass, the wide reciver was covered well.The ball bounces off of Oaklands defender and than the wide reciver caught it. Now there was one question, did the ball hit the ground before the wide reciver caught it? The ref calls it a catch. Pittsburgh wins the game.

    The Dallas Cowboys were playing the MInnesote Vikings at Minnesota. Trailing 14-10 with just under two minutes in the game, Cowboys drove to mid-field on 9 plays. With 24 seconds left a hail mary was thrown by Cowboys QB and cought by Pearson, the wide reciver. Touchdown the Cowboys win 14-17

    Oakland Raiders vs Baltimore Colts. This was another double overtime game in the playoffs. Raiders down 31-28 with less than a minute left. A field goal sent the game into overtime with under a miute left. The Raiders caught a pass with 48 seconds left in double overtime to win the game

    San Diego Chargers vs Miami Dolphins. This game was anyones game. The Dolphins jumped out to a 21-0 lead but that wasnt enough. After a back and forth game it went into overtime. Finally the Chargers prevailed 41-38. Keenan Winslo got the MVP of the game with a blocked field goal and had 13 receptions for 166 yards.

    Denver Broncos vs the Cleavend Browns. It was a very exciting game with most the excitment in the secind half. The broncos had the ball on their own 2 yard line with 5:52 left on the clock and they were losing, the Chiefs could taste the Super Bowl. But John Elway lead the Broncos to a 15 play drive and ended up tying the game. In overtime the Broncos kicker made a game winning field goal.

    Oakland Raiders Vs New England Patriots. A very cold snowing game and it was a close one. The Raiders were leading the Patriots 13-10 nearing the end of the game. The Patriots QB Tom Brady droped back in the pocket to pass, the pass rush came sacked Brady and he fumbled.But, After further review the play was called and incomplete pass because Brady's arm was already moving forward to pass.

    It was the first game game back in New Orleans since Hurrican Katrina. The Saints played the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night. The Falcons did not come to play and they left New Orleans with a loss of 23-3.
