My Technology Timeline

  • First interactions with technology

    I began interacting with technology at a young age through watching tv and movies as well as playing with childrens toys such as mini laptops.

  • First use of a computer

    Started using my home computer to create pictures using paint

  • Using computers within school

    Around primary 5/6 I was encouraged to use programme such as word and the internet to research topics and produce work at school.

  • Playing games online

    Playing virtual games on the internet as well as games such as the sims .

  • Email account created

    First email account created which I still use to this day.

  • First Social Media Account created

    I created a Bebo page to communicate with my friends over the internet and share pictures

  • More use of social media

    Bebo lost its interest and Facebook became the new must have socail media account to have.

  • Use of internet on my mobile phone

    The internet become more accessable on mobile phone devices allowing me to look up information on my phone.

  • Another social media account set up

    Twitter account created for University purposes.
