    My Path of Reading

  • Owl Babies

    Owl Babies
This book was so cute. There were three owlets named Sarah, Percy and Bill. Ah... Owl Babies. My mom read me this fairly often, though I don't remember much of it.
  • What Kind of Kiss?

    What Kind of Kiss?
I loved reading this, because it had flaps that you would open up. The characters were cute, and I thought it was great. I made my parents read this to me many times.
  • Cat's Colors

    Cat's Colors
This was a book I read, and was read to, when I was very young. I loved this book, and I made my parents read it to me very often.
  • Mooseltoe

I loved this book so much when I was younger. I used to make my parents read this book to me, Christmas or not. It was such a great book.
  • Toad on the Road

    Toad on the Road
This book was one of THE books in my childhood. We read it often and years later we would even quote the book occasionally. That's how often we read it!
  • The Rainbow Fish

    The Rainbow Fish
This book was another of my favorites when I was younger. I loved the sparkly pages as the fish gave away her scales to others. It was the cutest thing.
  • Animal Ark

    Animal Ark
The cover that's shown is the first book I read in the Animal Ark series. Though this book is a part of the series, it was part of the series aimed for younger children. Little Animal Ark. But this was the book that first got me interested in the Animal Ark series.
  • Can't You Sleep Little Bear?

    Can't You Sleep Little Bear?
My mother read this to me very often. I would ask her to read it over and over and over. Years later she told me that she got bored of it very quickly because of its repetitive word use; like PLOD PLOD PLOD. This book actually reminds me of myself because it took me awhile to sleep too.
  • Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel

Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel
Ah man. Mike Mulligan. This book was amazing. I loved this book. It was cute, and sad but once they soved the problem of the steam shovel digging itself into a hole, it was awesome.
  • Harry Potter

    Harry Potter
You gotta have Harry Potter in this. Well, at least I do. This series is very important for me, because it's basically my life. My whole family has read the books (except my little brother, shame) and watched the movies. We even hung up the covers and framed them.
  • The Black Lagoon

    The Black Lagoon
This book series, I was obsessed with. They had a few books at the Montrose Elementary library, and every time I was there to check out books, I got these. Literally, every time. In fact I probably would have kept checking these out if the librarian said that I should probably check out something else.
  • Warriors

    Warriors
These were the first series I really got into. I absolutely LOVED these series. The series include Warriors, The New Prophecy, The Power of the Three, and Omen of the Stars. I have read almost all of the guide books, and specials, and a couple of the mangas. I was so obsessed with these for a LONG time. I reread these books many times. However I only have copies of a couple books. Now that I am coming back to all of these old favorites, I can feel my obsession rekindling.
  • Percy Jackson and the Olympians

    Percy Jackson and the Olympians
I read these books when I was around 8 or 9, or when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. I love these books to death, and I have read them countless times. I think they really made me interested in Greek mythology. Every time I reread them, I really get back into Greek mythology.
  • Inheritance Cycle

    Inheritance Cycle
The Inheritance Cycle was awesome. I loved all of the books. I think I am the only one in my family who absolutely loved this series! The only thing we do NOT SPEAK OF about the Inheritance Cycle, is the movie. It never happened, got it?
  • The Hunger Games

    The Hunger Games
The first book was fantastic. The second wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't as good as the first one. However the third, I was bored out of my mind. I like them all, but the third one was just so slow moving.
  • Heroes of Olympus

    Heroes of Olympus
The second installment in the Percy Jackson universe, and Rick doesn't disappoint. These books are wonderful, and I quickly bought the hard-cover of the Son of Neptune, and the Mark of Athena for my Kindle Fire. To me, it is very unfortunate that I don't have the first one. I have reread the second two, but not the first because I do not have it. I love these books so much. Though I didn't get into the first one as much as the others, I must admit.
  • The Hobbit

    The Hobbit
I read this book fairly recently, acutally. I read it just before the first movie of "The Hobbit" came out. I loved it, and I am currently rereading it, for my own enjoyment and to prepare for the next movie.
  • Incarceron

    Incarceron
These books in the series first introduced me to steampunk. And I loved it. I didn't get too obsessed with them, but I did immensely enjoy them!
  • The Fellowship of the Ring

    The Fellowship of the Ring
I am currently reading this. I am not, at this moment, finished. But so far it is quite interesting. Reading "The Hobbit" inspired, so to speak, me to read this. Hopefully I still like it by the end.
