A smartphone is a cellular telephone with an integrated computer and other features not originally associated with telephones.
My parents decided to upgrade my keypad phone to smartphone since this has more features. -

A portable microcomputer having its main components (such as processor, keyboard, and display screen) integrated into a single unit capable of battery-powered operation.
I used this for academic purposes such as creating documents, essays, research, etc.
