    on August 23, 2005 I experienced hurricane Katrina. When I when threw that the power was out, trees were bend almost in half, the streets were flooded and we couldn’t go anywhere for a week we survived with no power and food we had at the house.

    It was held on November 4, 2008, Democrat Barrack Obama vs. Republican John McCain the senior U.S. Senator from Arizona. Obama got 365 electoral votes, and McCain 173,the popular vote was 69,456,897 to 59,934,814. Obama received the most votes for a presidential candidate in American history. It was one of the biggest elections in U.S. history were we would see who’s going to lead the U.S. in the right direction. Barack Obama won becoming the first black president in U.S. history.
