In merely 5 days, America has been overpowered by NATO (which most of the world has joined at this point) and is forced to make a treaty similar to the Versaiilles Treaty. -

America has entered an extreme depression, and many can barely afford to keep their lights on due to the rest of the world taking what resources they had. -
Brandon Hines Enters Office
Hines has entered a high position in office due to the weak state of the government, and his promising campaign. -
Period: to
American Rearming Begins
Hines eventually takes control of much of the (remaining) office, he makes drastic changes, getting rid of the constitution and implementing a near tyrannical form of government. The people see it as hopeful change (as democracy now barely exists, most of the world governments are aristocracies) and welcome it with open arms. Industrialization increases drastically, yet NATO does not act upon it. -
World War IV
Hines strikes all of the Americas at once using drones. In a matter of years, he has two continents at his finger tips. NATO is in disarray. -
Period: to
American Prosperity
American science and industry are booming. Human life expectancy triples. Many of the world's nations surrender or are conquered over the span of the next few decades. Eventually, the whole world is united under one flag.
