    Walt Disney
    Walt Disney was born on December 5 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. He started his own company called Laugh-O-Grams, but it went bankrupt so he decided to sstart fresh in Hollywood. He won his first Academy award for the animation Flowers and Trees in 1932 and he finally made a movie (Snow White,1937). His dream of an organized theme park cacame true in 1955, which held the grand opening of Disneyland Park. He diedied on December 15 1966 in Burbank, California.
  • Martin Luther King Jr.

    Martin Luther King Jr.
    Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15 1929 in Atlanta Georgia. He became well known for his advance in the civil rights and his nonviolent methods. He was involved in the Bus Boycott of 1955 and the March on Washington (1963), which would lead him to his most known accomplishment, the I Have A Dream speech. He was successful in his career until April 4 1968, when he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee.
  • Benjamin Fox (Mr. Fox)

    Benjamin Fox, or Mr. Fox, was a teacher at Colegio FD Roosevelt from 2009 to 2011. He taught choir, band and orchestra for 6th through 8th graders. He directed most all of the school concerts and made sure that they were enjoyable for both the performers and the audience. At the end of the 2010-2011 school years, he left FDR and went to Dubai.
